We have been developing testing equipment for EV battery materials since 2015, when we first supplied the UTM7105/7305 powder compaction density tester to CATL. This system measures how battery powders compact under controlled pressure and thus, provides useful data for material development and quality checks. Since then, CATL and its partners have purchased nearly 30 units, along with our UTM2000, UTM4000, UTM5000, and UTM6000 Series electromechanical universal testing machines to cover a broader range of mechanical testing requirements.

The UTM7105/7305 has since been adopted by battery manufacturers and new materials companies such as BYD, BTR, Liyuan New Materials, Brunp Recycling, Gotion High-Tech, SVOLT, Zichen New Materials, Shanshan Technology, EVE Energy, Sunwoda, Lishen Battery, Samsung Battery, Xiaomi Auto and various other companies in the EV battery supply chain. The fact that these systems have been put into use shows that we have gained considerable experience in testing battery powder and that our services are capable of meeting both the needs of material R&D and of quality testing.
